Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR) is seeking an innovative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to be its first executive director. The successful candidate will work with SOAR’s Executive Board, including Kentucky Congressman Hal Rogers and Governor Steve Beshear, to bring the organization’s mission to reality. The successful candidate will oversee the organization’s achievement of strategic, operational, and financial objectives. An inspirational leader who possesses an understanding of the region’s health, economic, and educational conditions, and enthusiasm to help positively shape its future is desired.
