TRAINEE DIAMOND SORTERS 1.1.Main Purpose of the Job The successful applicants will undergo an appropriate training programme in diamond sorting and valuation. Upon successful completion of the programme and probation period the candidates will be confirmed as Diamond Sorters and undertake various tasks and activities in the operations department 1.2.Qualifications and Experience •Degree, Diploma or Industry qualification or BGCSE •NO particular experience is required except for those from the Diamond Industry with BGCSE qualification, as candidates will be trained on the job. Prospective candidates however should be highly numerate and be conversant with Microsoft Office Applications. 2.TEMPORARY SORTERS 2.1.Main Purpose of the Job: To sort diamonds according to sample to ensure accurate and consistent assortment to meet company targets. The successful candidates will periodically render services to DTCB. 2.2.Qualifications and Experience: •BGCSE with credits in English and Mathematics •At least 2 years sorting and valuing experience is a MUST.
