Sharon here are a few pics of Pippa and her babies that I just took. No they are not suppose to be nursing but the kittens were able to nurse around the tensor bandage so I need to buy more of the vet wrap. So for now Pippa is a happy momma nursing her babies. She hates not being able to nurse but it really is for the best. At least if we can slow them down and only let them nurse once or twice a day it will reduce the amount of medication they get through mommas milk. Overall they are all doing quite well. They are gaining weight and momma does a great job keeping them clean. Pippa herself is alert and is eating and drinking really well. She gets her medication every day in the kitten glop and she always licks the plate clean. Lol. She also gets any extra glop after I feed the kittens every 3 hours. She always looks forward to that and drinks it right from the syringe. Lol its good for her too. She eats about 1 can of food a day plus about 1/2-3/4 cup of kitten food (dry) every day. And drinks about 1 cup of water.
