Inherited my dear grandmothers eyesight peculiarities, so that always adds extra onto the cost, but the real problem is the draconian switch to a really CRAPPY vision plan from the excellent VSP plan we had before. Dont know who thought this was a good idea, but Im hoppin mad! Total cost is twice as much. Ill need to examine my options, because it would be cheaper to just pay cash than pay the monthly premium, unless I ever need some kind of surgical procedure, I guess.
