Sheriffs Office Investigates Scams The Cochise County Sheriffs Office has received reports advising that potential victim(s) received a call regarding a “Kevin Brown” leaving voice messages stating he is from the IRS Debt Audit Dept., owing monies to IRS. He also states “if you do not call back you will be arrested”. Telephone number # 202-747-0984 Also, on Facebook: Jennifer Harlow stating she is with FBI Fraud Dept, stating FBI detected fraud and your name was used claiming money (350,000$) was awarded. Victim gave facebook password and name, as requested, did not give bank info. Victim was then locked out of all online accounts (Facebook/E-mail/etc). Telephone number # 323-570-2692 Both numbers were called with no one answering. Please do NOT fall for these scams! The investigations are being continued by the Sheriffs Office and more information will be released as it becomes available. Stay safe out there!
