Shiv Dayal Singh was born in Agra, India, in 1818, and became known to His followers as Soami Ji Maharaj. His biography was written by His younger brother Pratap (Chachaji), who tells us: The Supreme Being... RADHA SOAMI Incarnated Himself as Soami Ji Maharaj. Radhasoami is not only the most significant Name given to us of the Supreme Being, but also represents the original and highest heaven from which all creation emanated. More importantly, it is the supreme mantra Name to be repeated during meditation, along with the hearing of the Divine Sound Shabd from our inner right ear and visualizing the inner-Sat Guru. Soami Ji was a proponent of Sant Mat (Religion of the Saints), which began in the 15th century in India with the advent of Saint Kabir and Guru Nanak. Although in truth, the teachings have probably been here since mans earliest beginnings. In many ways, Sant Mat is an extension of the Hindu religion, albeit of a much Higher Order, while Soami Ji has been viewed as its most important Sat (True) Guru to manifest in the 19th century. We await the next manifestation of the living Sat Guru, who will be the successor to Babuji (the last Sat Guru of the Soami Ji lineage) having died in 1949. Radhasoami to All! With Peace & Love!! youtu.be/mIeyA9kn8G8
