Shocking sad end of an Era! Due to the rising cost of carbon fiber, pressing carbon supergliders have become cost prohibitive. This was my first production model, and it put Earthwing on the map. My good friend Dave Henson was riding the first prototype in 2005, and let Mark Gonzales try it. Mark said wow, thats like a street glider or something! Thats the story behind the Supergliders name. For a while I just kept making decks that were Super- something...(supermodel, supercharger....) I just seemed to make the decks faster. Say goodbye to one of the pioneers to high-end constructions that has made many skaters see the world in new dimensions. Once these are gone, thats it! Rip in peace my friend!
