Should the West intervene in Syria? No country or group of countries has the right to interfere in any countries affairs unless through the agency of UN and that also within the limitations prescribed by the UN charter. West is neither neighbour of Syria nor a co-sharer in its sufferings. Instead of interfering there, the West should harness its ally Saudi Arabia and neither incite it nor embolden it to create troubles for the Syrian people only for the reason of creed differences. Helping or inciting Saudis to be troublesome for any other country for their dogma difference or for the interest of US is really an international crime. Herein, the West means Europe short of Russia and includes America.
