Sierra Vista Shooting Update As of this morning, the silver KIA that was reportedly driven by the suspect in the shooting which occurred on Chapperal Circle was located in the Sierra Vista area after Detectives developed leads that identified the vehicle owner. Detectives were able to conduct a search of the vehicle in the early morning hours of today at which time they located a 380 semi-automatic handgun that is believed to be the weapon used in this incident. There is no indication that the vehicle owner was involved in the shooting and suspect(s) are still being sought in connection to this incident. Both gunshot victims are in stable condition and the 25 year old may be released from the hospital within the next 24 hours. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
