Simple HEMA glove tutorial. What youll need is: Tight mechanics gloves (I used Grease Monkey) thick walled PVC pipe cut in sections to the lengths of your individual phalanges. thin walled PVC pipe cut into little rectangles and stacked upon each other to make guards for your knuckles between the thicker covers. PVC end caps cut in half for your fingertips sheets of thin foam material as a base layer for the glove plastic pickle/paint bucket, cut into plates for the back of the hand. strips of ribbon to hold the finger pieces down large glue gun with plenty of glue sticks As for construction, you put the glove on your hand and attach the base foam layer with glue, then glue each individual piece to your own fingers whilst wearing the glove to endure the fit is custom and will move with your hand. Glue the little knuckle guards on first, then the larger finger pieces over the finger tips, phalanges, and the base knuckles. then use the cut bucket pieces and glue them to the back of your hand and add another layer of plates above this with another layer of the thin foam material between them. use the ribbon strips to then be glued to the tops of the finger pieces and then tightly pull them down and glue the overlapped tips to the undersides of your fingers. REmove the glove and let the glue solidify (hot glue tends to dry quickly and thats why I prefer it). paint the glove as you wish. Finished product below https://youtube/watch?v=TcUoHrECSAU
