Since July 1, a stagger 1,040 animals--about 70 each day--have been turned in to PACC. This is a County-run, open admission shelter. No one is turned away and there is no fee to drop off. They are over capacity. 516 dogs are stuffed into 233 kennels and cages. They have no room now to give extra time to injured, ill or behavior challenged animals. That means the PTS rate will increase. They need our help! Adopt--all animals are just $13 dollars plus the licensing fee. Go to 4000 N. Silverbell between 12-7 pm M-F and 10-5 Sat and Sunday to adopt.
