Since Larrys stores arent open on Thanksgiving I am not being biased. It is really getting annoying hearing people drone on that many retailers are going to be open on Thanksgiving. So, in theory then, nothing should be open on that day-hospitals, gas stations, convenient stores, airports, movie theaters, TV/radio stations, restaurants-and what about police/fire departments? Is their family time less valuable? Employees have a choice to work those days and get additional compensation for working holidays. Considering the economic condition of this country, some NEED to work. Their jobs are not in jeopardy if they dont work-its choice. As for people banning an establishment because they have decorations up and are playing holiday music already, probably a good time to reevaluate your priorities in life. For some people, it may be their last holiday season and will enjoy it. Some love the music and decorations and it puts them in a happy mood. Id rather have more people walking around in happier moods than those with their checklist of where they arent going because Rudolph is playing on the musak.
