Since Rocky D. passed Ive been hearing this song soooooo much, much more than Ive ever heard it in my life!! Rocky loved club & house music. He was so in his element when he was mixing, and I thought he was way too modest about his skills. Truth is hed be in the basement long into the night with his first love, and some nights hed come in from work only to go and greet his console first. I always joked that she (music) was the only side piece Id allow him to have, but he would quickly remind me that I still acted a little jealous and very erratic when he spent too much time with her, lol. Of all the club/house music, this song was Rocs favorite. He loved it for everything it meant. This evening I was driving and heard it come on the radio. It brought tears to my eyes. I can only guess that hes up there in heaven taking requests, but every once in a while he takes the time out to play one of his faves, just to remind me hes still looking down on me, watching over me & asking God to keep me safe. If I make our love affair sound like a fairy tale, its because it was.... and yet even THAT title doesnt do it justice. I recognize that only death could have parted us physically, but spiritually hes still my Huggy and Im still his Bae.
