Since Sunday I am at the Redemptorist Retreat Center in Pattaya, Thailand, for the FABC organized conference on Priestly Formation in the light of the New Evangelization according to Evangelii Gaudium. For me it is a wonderful moment of reflection on my life and vocation. One think I keep on pondering is the fact that the years behind me are many and long. The time ahead of me are gradually vanishing and may anytime cease. I am sure giving God glory and loving the Church will even be greater, more rewarding and fruitful in eternity. But before I surrender myself finally to God and join the Most Holy Mother, I want to see better times for our country and for the Church. Let us therefore pray more ardently, work more zealously and act more decisively. Lord, I believe. Help my lack of faith!
