Since the opening of the Wolfson Cystic Fibrosis Centre you may be aware that like other CF units, we have started running segregated clinics according to which organism you usually grow in your sputum. This is in line with the Cystic Fibrosis Trust guidelines on standards of care in CF and helps stop cross-infection between patient groups, therefore protecting each of you from acquiring new strains from each other. Most days there are now AM and/or PM clinics running. Please can you therefore ensure you only attend for the time that has been organised for you. If you do arrive particularly early for your appointment, please utilise any of the cafes on the campus, or use the garden area outside the unit (provided if it is not already in use). Hope this helps with any confusion that may have been caused.
