Since using those heavy rubber mats didnt work as flooring, I decided to use them differently. The building has no gutters. Lol. But the ground is pitched so water flows away from the building. But to avoid washing out the pitch and the ground freezing and thawing, I placed the mats along the building. I used one, though, as a way to decrease draft along the western wall - living space.
