Single moms never used to be on my radar. There were many seasons I didnt know any at all, or if I did, I never gave their life a second thought. Man, was I so wrong and uncaring. Guys, please hear me. If you know, or know of, a single mom, REACH OUT. Reach out and keep on reaching out. Ask her how shes doing, get coffee and be an ear, invite her and her kiddos out with your family, offer handy man help around the house, be a sitter, show up with ice cream. Let her know youre there, that you see her, that shes doing a good job, that youre proud of her, that what shes doing matters. The days are long, theyre lonely, theyre exhausting. Be a relief, be a friend and most importantly PRAY for these dear mamas. Be a prayer warrior and support these women who are raising the next generation alone. Put single moms on your radar and love them. We could all use some more love.
