Sinn Fein were nowhere to be seen throughout the property tax - TopicsExpress

Sinn Fein were nowhere to be seen throughout the property tax struggle. They came to meetings and joined in the scaremongering being done by the govt because they didnt want to support nonpayment then either. Unfortunately, 89% paid the property tax, because they didnt feel confident about taking on Revenue. The difference now is there is a revolt against the water charges and we can win. So why are Sinn Fein standing aside from that popular revolt and using the exact same language as Fine Gael ministers about nonpayment?
