God said Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy six days shall thou labour and do all thy work but the seventh day is the sabbath of the lord thy god......EXd 20 8 -11. He could have risen on the second day of his death n burrial but because he say rest on the seventh day he rested inoder to show us that saturday is the sabbath n whatever he says he mean it.
