Six years ago today I had prostate cancer surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Rode the Grey Hound bus up there and back lol. I thought after the surgery, everything would be back to normal but not so. Still fighting the cancer as it traveled to my bones. Doctors say there is no medical cure. BUT....this whole experience has given me new life so to speak...Its inspired new songs Ive written, a greater faith than Ive ever had before, a testimony that gives some people chills Ive been told and a new career in music. Ive always done country and I still do country. I took out the drinking songs and the cheating songs and added Jesus to the equation. Seems to be working for me.
