So 11 years ago today I began trying to put my life back together due to a divorce. I was digging thru bills when I discovered an unpaid medical bill I was unaware I had...it had been sent to collections. I called the attorney on the notice but they were in a meeting and werent taking calls. So I called the billing group to ask about this bill. The kind lady that answered the phone wasnt supposed to be there at that time. She was filling in for a co-worker. She shouldnt have been there to accept my call. I called very late in the day...5 minutes later and no one wouldve answered. She worked on my account and discovered the insurance had mistakenly not paid...so I was in the clear. From my records, she saw our birthdays were exactly one day apart. This sparked further conversation. I was born in CA and moved to IN...she was born in IN and grew up in CA. Both of us were the third of 4 children. Both lived in TX for a short stint. Both divorced after 20 years. Both had 2 kids...a boy and a girl. Maybe youve already guessed, the lady that answered the phone has been my wife for 10 years as of last month. We found out later that our Moms birthdays were also a day apart. This chance meeting wasnt supposed to be. I had no interest in getting involved in another relationship...especially so soon after being devastated by one. That was not my plan! So many things shouldnt have happened that day...But God Had A Better Plan! And thank God he did! 11 years ago today he brought the woman who was to be my wife into my life!
