So. 5 Things About Me Yall May Not Know: 1.) I love Detroit. But Im from Oak Park, and represent ONLY that, lol. I dont go out of town and tell people im from Detroit. I tell them Im from Oak Park, a cozy little enclave just a few short minutes away, lol. 2.) I was born asthmatic. I have had it my whole life, and when the weather changes I have to be much more careful than others because mine is inextricably linked to my allergies. 3.) When I was younger, I used to get pneumonia every 4 years like clockwork, and it always presented in weird ways. One instance it presented as massive joint pain. I was actually tested for a lot of other random illnesses, many from which I could have died, before they discovered it was regular ol pneumonia. 4.) I love to learn, but I hate being forced to do so on a schedule and graded on my ability to regurgitate the info in a way that satisfies another. I dont always agree with what i learn or deem it as important enough to retain. The things Ive learned, the knowledge ive acquired, are all incorporated into my broader worldview which would be impossible to grade. 5.) If I was courageous enough, I would walk away from the life Ive created and start building another. It would start with a cabin off of a freshwater lake, with a woman who would encourage me to grow, learn, and love in new and fantastic ways to whom I would reciprocate. I would build this life based on the ideas that love is enough, faith is fuel, and honesty delivered with tact is a powerful weapon for change. peace. want to share? need a number? like this post and ill shoot you one via mesage.
