So I been thinking.. People always reminisce about the old days of the Pentecostal church. So many people dont say it, but we wonder where our power went. I know everybody calls at Grandma and grandpas religion, but I feel like they had a lot more experiences with God that we do today. When you look at the difference: holiness isnt holy anymore, its merely getting by without breaking the standard of your church. Weve turned prayer request in to gossip sessions and praying into preying. Our alters have now become stages. Instead of being participators weve become spectators. Prayer meetings and devotions are now coffee and Donuts. The lack of divine healing has created Obamacare. The Dance is choreographed, the shout is a show. When Duck Dynasty has become the cleanest show on tv, then we have a problem. And thats a fact jack! We have more of a relationship with social media, sports, events, television or Netflix (for you holy people) and we claim to be spiritual.. I see people pray to God in a status like he is on Facebook, sure.. Prayer is a great thing.. But has Facebook become your God? You do know that you can still talk to him? We have no right to complain about politics. We cannot blame the devil anymore. The Bible said if MY people which are called by my name ( thats us, the church) would humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways... I would heal their land! Now dont get me wrong I didnt say that you were going to hell youre doing any of these things. But if you wonder where your power went? Dig a little deeper! Every relationship takes work!
