So I found ANOTHER interesting direct ancestor in my family tree! My 6th great grandfather was Lieutenant Colonel Moses Parker. He fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. He died from injuries sustained during that battle on July 4, 1775. I lived RIGHT near there and had NO idea. I cant tell you the times Ive been to Bunker Hill! My family history continues to surprise and amaze me after over 25 years doing this research. I also realize I should have paid more attention in school! From multiple Mayflower passengers, Revolutionary war Patriots, Salem Witch trials, first settlers of so many towns in New England and Canada. I
