So, I started dying my hair today, going for a medium auburn. I notice as Im mixing that the color looks awfully orange. It looks even more orange as Im applying it, and I start freaking out. I grab the tube from the garbage, looking for the color number. It says 2A. The color on the box says R5! Some idiot switched the tubes! Now Im going to look like a carrot! I run to the kitchen and scrub my hair with dish soap, rinse it til it runs clear, thinking I got most of it out, and boy, did I dodge that bullet. Then I realize that 2A stood for which step it was in the process. The color was correct. Shaking my head now. My slightly reddish tinted head.
