Every country has its downfall and after being here for just 2 days its safe to say America suffers from gluttony without even trying to. The portions here for breakfast are half if not even less than American breakfasts. Portions in grocery stores as well. Its like America is programed for obesity and gluttony based on extreme portions and sizes both in restaurants and grocery stores. Its not even intentional its a matter of cultural lifestyle.
