So I was going to write a gag post about how, twelve years ago today, Melinda and I closed on our house (which, to be fair, looked much more like a sherbet factory had exploded inside a Laura Ashley catalog in those days), and how its been a wonderful relationship with a piece of architecture for twelve years, and how much we love it, etc. etc. etc., and then mention as an aside that, oh yeah, three years to the day later we got married and stuff. But that would be ridiculous. So let me simply say happy anniversary to the brilliant, talented, lovely statistical ninja whom I have the signal honor of being married to. Love you, Melinda Thielbar.
