So I was offered the job on OB at FFThompson, and even though that is where my heart belongs, I did decline the job for several reasons. The drive was one of the reasons, the benefits were not as good, and I felt that for my retirement purposes the best decision for me was to stay in Geneva where I have 34+ years of service. My Geneva coworkers are happy and I am good with my decision. I do like my job, and I am thinking about doing per diem at FFThompson on OB so I can keep my skills up.
