So, I watched Dredd this weekend on Netflix. Surprisingly - it was actually a pretty good film and the plot held my attention... but OMG the violence! Ive seen a lot of tough films but this one has to be among the most brutal. One example, Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) needs to take out two guys and after she engages them, she basically machine guns this guys head into chunks, while she is wrestling with the dude. That is one of many, many ultraviolent moments and the camera never flinches away.
