So...I went to feed the horses yesterday as usual and found Kappy and Marlie on the opposite sides of the fence...I was pretty sure I had left them both in the same paddock the day before...After a closer inspection one segment of the fence was partly lying on the ground with a broken rail and mesh wire all around it...Marlie was fine, although she must have jumped over this mess to get to the wrong side of the fence, but Kappys hind leg looked not much better than the fence, with a few minor scratches in other parts of her body :-( Fortunately, looks like she managed to avoid all the important structures in her leg, so her leg is swollen and sore, but she is weight bearing and moving around on it...now even more happily with the bandage on and some bute on board...
