So Ive avoided getting to political for awhile and Im not trying to stir the pot but am I the only one who finds this interesting? The police association soon to be joined by the firefighters union is going to sue the city of Milwaukee over residency resrictions that were recommended by, supported by, and voted through by our Mayor Tom Barrett. Wasnt Tom Barrett the second coming of Christ to these unions just a year ago? Wasnt he suppose to be their fearless governor? And if all is being run so well in Milwaukee, why do they all want to move the hell out? Sounds like Diamond Jim Doyle all over again. The president of the Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Local 215 says he’s happy to see employees get a raise. He declined to comment when asked about the residency requirement attached to the raise. He says the union plans on joining the Police Association in its lawsuit against the city over the residency requirement
