So, Ive been relatively quite about this topic since we posted it earlier this week. To be honest, I didnt really know how to put my emotions into words. But after reading all the great things that people have been saying, its hard for me to not say something about it. Nothing in the world means more to me than the kind words that have been said. To hear some of these kids saying that TWR was the reason why they got into the local scene means so much to me. I cant even express how much. I never expected much while being in TWR. I never cared if we made it big or if someone didnt like our band. What I cared most about was bringing kids into local music. And thats one reason we played so many Metro Concerts Live shows. Thats why we sold tickets for super cheap. Thats why we always had our music for free. Not to get big, but to get kids interested in local music. And if they didnt like our band, wed promote another band to them that they might like. And, now...to hear some these kids saying that seeing TWR on a large show was the reason they got into the scene....well, Id say that makes TWR a successful band. Thats the success I was aiming for. I love every single person that I had met along the way. Be it at a show or through a comment from someone in another state over the internet. I cant even express how much I appreciate everything you guys have done for TWR. I also love all the dudes in TWR. Brad, Austin, Bill & Brandon. Weve had some stressful times and some great times. Ups and downs. Even though this is the end of TWR, I wouldnt trade these past three years for anything. I love you dudes and you guys are my brothers. Weve shared some interesting times throughout the years and I cherish every single one of them. Again, thanks to everyone that has ever supported They Will Repent. It makes everything worth it.
