So Last weekend Saturday night to be exact I woke up with a wicked cramp on like front of my leg not the typical cramp in the back. I muddled around and hobbled basically hoping the pain goes away well not so lucky. When my toes went numb I feared a blood clot I went to the Dr. today family Dr. sends me to another and after sticking a turkey baster into my leg determined I have compartment syndrome. The mother hens at work (who worry about me) googled it after reading the surgical description and possible outcome of not treating this I find myself a little frightened. The surgery is described as long incisions don the length of the leg exposing the muscle then cutting the whatever layer surrounding the muscle to relieve the pressure as to relieve the pressure on the nerve. Foot up for two days back for another turkey baster in the leg then decide if the surgery follows. Why couldnt I have a problem that allowed a couple days off recommending 6hours per day of catfishing for stress relief.
