So about people of color saying Barkley is a rich guy who doesnt have a clue about what black people have to go through. Sorry people, you are just proving his point. There is a culture problem on both sides of the field. White privilege is real, but so is the fact that black mentality is dragging the entire community down. Instead of trying to distance themselves from the bad elements, some of them think thats what it means to be black. Sorry. No. I know PLENTY of black people, and ALL of them function just fine in society without reinforcing stereotypes. Unfortunately those people have to suffer publicly for the people that just cant seem to get their act together. There should be no sticking up for people just because they are black. Stick up for people because their rights were violated for having a peaceful protest broken up by police. Stick up for people who legitimately did nothing wrong. Dont stick up for the bad elements. Publicly out people who rob, steal, vandalize, and abuse others, regardless of race.
