So as I said earlier there is a new place for a great meal .. Elis Jerusalem ..next to Salvatore s on 280 .. I had already had dinner but Steve had not..he ordered the chicken Shwarma plate ..I had some house made pita bread and Babaganoosh. This is a great taste of Israel for the uninitiated. .the Israeli salad is fresh and perfect the falafel ( the owner gave us a sample)was delicious.. the chicken Shwarma was great too.. I like that they buy organic and local as much as possible and that the pita is freshly made..look forward to having a meal there soon.. lots to choose from.. The owner and family were extremely nice and welcoming..soo if you are curious about Israeli food..give it a try.. if you enjoy Israeli food you will love this..
