So as of Jan 1st smoking will no longer be permitted on patios, or anywhere on bar and restaurant properties in Ontario . the govt didnt even consider any economic impact .never mind do any research on it .But the damage this law will do ,on top of all the others ,will be profound .Last nail in many venues coffins- oh the irony . maybe you dont like smoking .but I hope you dont like live music bars either .because they will be finished in many places . I hope the hospitality industry stands up to this unconstitutional BS and gets the law repealed . let the venues decide is smoking outside (on their PRIVATE property ) will be permitted ,and the customers can choose their preference accordingly . There are a LOT more dangerous things than 2nd-hand smoke out there ,in your food .your air ,and your water - but many obviously feel that stigmatizing smokers is a higher priority than fixing pollution (which causes most of the cancers our families are all coping with) the whole thing makes me wanna puke..
