So before this post gets drowned out by everyone else, I just want to wish everyone an absolutely wonderful new year. 2014 was full of ups and downs. There are many positive experiences, for which I am thankful for and many lessons I have learned and have still to learn. As customary, Ive cleaned my room to being in the new year. Ive taken the opportunity to make two resolutions. 1) Ive made a jar called the good news jar of power 2015. In this jar I will write something positive that happened and at the end of the year, I can open it and read all of the good memories. Kind of like a good news bank. 2) Ive started an actual journal titled 2015: Year of the Waifu with which I can channel my thoughts and feelings in written word for personal reflection. People make all kinds of resolutions and never stick to them. It is difficult to change who we are whether that is physically or emotionally. It takes true determination to understand our inhibitions and our flaws and seek to improve/remedy them. I opened a Chinese fortune cookie the other day and the fortune read Faith is a law. And I thought wow, that hits home. Whether that faith is in oneself, in G(g)od(s) or some divine power, in someone else, in all of us, faith is a source of optimism. It is the belief that regulates a positive change. If these words reach out to even one person then I am very glad. Happy New Years everyone, stay safe, turn up and warm wishes this coming year for everyone.
