So, didnt check FB from about Saturday/Sunday at CON till just now. WOW. I missed a LOT of notifications. So if you didnt see a response from me on something, sorry? But Im catching up now. Wow, what a great Con. Best one yet. As the Dragon Con Alternate History Track director, I need to say that without the amazing volunteers and wonderful panelists, any and all praise needs to go their way. I would like to thank three in particular from my team: Darrin Eader who was the rock that held us together and made sure the donation boxes and museum stanchions were there, Elizabeth Castorina Fleming for being my Second and keeping everything together at the expense of her voice and sanity, and super amazing gold star thanks to Liz Wang Carpenter - whose efforts I could spend pages on writing about with praises of generosity, kindness, and just always there when needed and then some. Id also like to thank Sheree Cobernus for the charging station and donating her valuable time to our track when she didnt need to, as well as ALL our volunteers. Lastly, special thanks to Paige Gardner and Emmett Davenport for their invaluable help and aid in planning our special events this year. Those two gals are shining examples of why I love steampunk so much, and I cannot say enough about how great this year was. THANK YOU ALL!!!
