So faith proceeds from hearing, as we listen to the message about God’s Anointed. [Romans 10:17 VOICE] ... I love that moment when in my prayer I am able to here my LORDs voice, advising me, telling me how much He loves me; and sometimes He tells me to do something or give a message, and its there when I have to be very careful, by faith I know is the LORD talking to me, and processing that messages needs a lot of prayer. You cannot just go to that person and tell them: God told me to tell you this! And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, [Philippians 1:9-10 NKJV] The Gift of Discernment is not a gift to play with it, its a special blessing provided by God, a glorious ability to determinate truth or mistake, good or evil: Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. [1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 NKJV] Then this message came to me: “Son of dust, prophesy against the false prophets of Israel who are inventing their own visions and claiming to have messages from me when I have never told them anything at all. Woe upon them! “O Israel, these ‘prophets’ of yours are as useless as foxes for rebuilding your walls! O evil prophets, what have you ever done to strengthen the walls of Israel against her enemies—by strengthening Israel in the Lord? Instead you have lied when you said, ‘My message is from God!’ God did not send you. And yet you expect him to fulfill your prophecies. Can you deny that you have claimed to see ‘visions’ you never saw, and that you have said, ‘This message is from God,’ when I never spoke to you at all?” Therefore the Lord God says: “I will destroy you for these ‘visions’ and lies. 9 My hand shall be against you, and you shall be cut off from among the leaders of Israel; I will blot out your names, and you will never see your own country again. And you shall know I am the Lord. [Ezequiel 13:1-9 TLB]. As you can see, false teaching lead us to become a Christian falsifying the word of God, and unfortunately discernment is where many Christians stumble by simply mistaking their point of view, their interest or their selfishness trying to be the chosen one Discernment is the way we think-live the biblical way in every single area of our lives, trusting faithfully God, if not Christians... that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, [Ephesians 4:12 NKJV].
