So for you types that were faithful SG1 watchers when show was airing, I got a question ( Ryan Parent, Greg Falk, James Ball, Kevin Johns, Kevin Scharf ) Now I always been a huge fan of the movie Stargate so didnt watch the early seasons of SG1 as I just couldnt separate movie Jack and Daniel (Kurt Russel and James Spader) from their lesser skilled (Im going to pay for that comment I know) TV Actor versions. So the Pilot caught me off guard big time. Watching Pilot and blah blah blah, good start to series and when suddenly Apotheoses removes the robe of Chara and there on my TV screen is a fully naked female. Im sure Id seen the pilot before and this scene wasnt apart of it and that got me wondering I had heard/read (forget which and no clue if true) years ago that Xena (I hated the show so never watched it more then handful of times) had 2 versions. The North American version that was (for lack of better word) sanitized for the USA crowd and the uncut version which showed in Europe and contained nudity. So it got me asking myself if this was the case for SG1 and the Box set I got was European show (and really crappy DVD disk quality that keep stalling out and what not). I know Xena was filmed in Australia so the European thing kinda made sense but SG1 was filmed in Vancouver BC Canada. I havent seen anymore nudity and just starting the 2nd season but definitely have noticed some more risque scenes of see through lingerie and barely applied shadows here and there that I dont recall (or ever noticed) on episodes I know Ive seen before. Obviously doesnt matter one way or other, if you wanna see nudity the web is filled with it, just something that caught me off guard and got me wondering is all.
