So here is my secret dream. To one year be able to have ALL of you here for Thanksgiving. To me, the significance is not restricted to relatives such as Alicia and Paul and Caroline and Nancy and Mary Ann.... It includes ALL of you who have enriched my life. Michael, Jennie, Claude, Hall, Connie, Star, Sharon, Reva, Char, Russ, Norma, Rich, Nancy, Judy, Bill, Kay., Obie, Helena, Carol, Tea, Mollie...... You think you are minor players in my life? Ha! EACH of you (even if not named!), in your own special way, have helped me more than you can ever imagine. i am triply blessed. By a wonderful, loving, talented son. By many relatives to whom i am proud to be related, if only by marriage (Paul!). By old friends who have been like siblings to me. Who have become more than mere friends. The best friends are those to whom you know you could go in times of great despair or need. Or share great news. ALL OF YOU! So I thank you all from the very bottom of my heart and soul for your friendship. I hope it never ends! Since I plan (seriously!) to live 38 more years, we still have time to share some time together. OK??!
