So heres the housekeeping Race starts at 10.30, leaving and finishing in Gransha grounds. For many of you this will be your first race experience, I strongly advise getting there early. Traffic congestion will ensure that landing last minute will be a disaster. I will be there from around 9am. Car parking spaces will be limited. I suggest car sharing. Some of you travelling from further afield will have to queue for race packs. The rest of us will be queueing for the portaloos with nerves (trust me!) We will post a meeting point and time on the grounds for everyone to meet up to get vests and team pics etc. All individual runners and first lap relay team members will start from the same point. There are buses for the second and third runners from the teams. Also buses there to take relay runners back to the finish line after their lap. We will identify a meeting point near the finish line on the day for everyone to go back to to cheer on our individual runners arriving in. If anyone needs race packs collected this week let us know, we need your printed e mail for the same. Sponsor monies can be handed to myself or Sharon on the day after the race, otherwise any outstanding sponsors must be in by end of the month so we can present to save the children. Dont forget to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! #teamgaza cant wait to meet you all on the day.
