So heres the update on Marcus from his doctors appointment visits in Portland yesterday. Neurology thinks he is doing very well. Other than a little bit of impairment in the field of vision on his left side he is doing great developmentally. His cardiologist is also very happy with of Marcuss little heart is doing. They are going to do a heart catheter sometime during the next 6 weeks to get more information on how his heart is performing, it is only a day procedure and he wont have to remain hospitalized. As of now, they are planning on September for the second stage heart surgery. As long as everything goes well, after he recovers from the surgery he will no longer need his NG tube.
