So heres what I consistently find humorous. The people saying, Apple is finally catching up with Android. Or the Moto 360 does the same thing... etc. They have consistently missed the point. The company actually makes it a huge priority on HOW you use their product thereby making that particular industry sector finally take off. Challenging even their own status quo. Its the how, not the what, which is where most other companies fail to get it, and why the Android fan boys suffer although they claim theyre not suffering (Its only a flesh wound says the Black Knight in Monty Pythons and The Holy Grail). I cant count the number of times Ive had people come to me with tech issues with Android phones and PCs. I suggest an iPhone, problems gone and theyre experiencing all the advantages the platform promises. Same with PC issues, get a Mac, problems gone. Sorry, 22 years in I.T. and you get a real sense of how things work and how to assess value when it comes to technology. Human beings that buy based on Spec or Features are constantly dealing with tech problems or fumbling around within the tool to get it to do what they need it to do. Apple does not have all the answers and they are not the only player in the game, but Im hard pressed to find another tech company with this level of commitment to HOW the Spec or Feature interacts with the Human. Many companies have been tripping over their own feet trying to get wearable tech to catch on. Aint been happening. Now Apple enters the market, lets see what happens. I personally thought of a smart watch as a joke, but after watching this video Im pretty excited on how they appear to have managed to really connect to the human, and made is personal. Id love to not have to have my phone in my hand fearing I might miss an important message, and HOW theyve designed this, HOW it seems to work makes it an actual viable possibility for me to use in the real world. You can hate on Apple if you like, but Im one who has enjoyed many of their products, enjoy the lack of tech issues with them, and their designs appeal to me way more than their competitors at the moment. https://youtube/watch?v=gcWNcQcgBIA
