So last week I told everyone on my page that CM Punk was going to enter MMA and be apart of the UFC and a lot of people doubted me and said that I was full of crap...Well just one week later CM Punk announces he is signed with the UFC for a multi fight deal in 2015. This has been in the works for some time now. CM Punk has been training for this since he left the WWE and has always shown a interest in this sport. Its going to be a huge news story for the UFC and Dana White is so smart because the cross over of wrestling fans to watch his products going to be huge. He is now exposing his company to a whole new audience. If you dont think that UFC is now direct competition to the WWE your only kidding yourself. I am so curious to see what the next UFC buy rate is because I predict its going to be huge. CM Punk just made his stock go up once again. No matter if he wins or looses he is going to make a TON of money from the UFC and now he legitimizes himself in the MMA world gaining new fans to his brand. Its great business all around no matter how you look at it. I myself cant wait to see him fight for so many reasons. 2015 is going to be a very interesting year in the world of pro wrestling and UFC. This is going to be a huge story for so many reasons. I honestly think Dana as a promoter no matter what he personally thinks on Punks skills in the Octagon, felt that signing Punk who is the biggest talk right now in the wrestling world would bring a new audience to his product. Super smart move because everyone will be watching So the big question is do you think he has a chance or not.
