So, like a hopeful idiot, I went to see the new Transformers movie... Heres just some of my thoughts... Holy crap was that awful... Replacing Shia with Marky Mark was a step in the right direction and Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci were good, but, ugh, the bots... John Goodman voices Hound and....it was...just not good... Drift was one big anti-Asian joke and looked ridiculous. The Dinobots were, at best, superfluous and, at worst, caricatures of anthropomorphized puppies. Guess I shouldnt have expected much after they killed TJ Miller in the first 20 minutes and then used sad music and slow motion to try to make us feel bad about it... Seriously, any time TJ Miller dies in a movie I feel the opposite of sad...
