So many peeps having a go at others on here because they are putting new years resolutions up etc. Hey if you want to use New Year to think about changing your life (body, finance or whatever) then you go for it and dont let others try and bring you down for doing so. Whether you are successful or not at least you have the right intentions. Only problem I see with resolutions is most fail because they dont continue them for long because they dont have the backing of someone to support them and also probably have the wrong plan of action. Heres some things to help: 1) Find a friend or partner who wants to achieve similar and support each other and set targets for yourselves. If one of you is slacking, the other can help. 2) Its all about creating habits. Just choose a few things and be rigid with them. Example: Hitting your daily water intake religiously EVERY DAY. Always having a good quality breakfast when starting off your day. Having healthy snack options available in the office at your desk so you stop picking at the office biscuit tin or sweet jar. These three alone could be the difference of 1stone in weight loss over January if you are rigid with them, and be fair its not that hard to stick to really. Once you have got used to these habits, you can then add new habits, and continue this process over the year. 3) Be inspired by something - If its fitness then look no further than our transformation page to be inspired..... modelhealthperformance/results/ There are hundreds of people on here with all different genetics, and body types, it just shows you that no matter the circumstances, theres a solution for you so you can overcome it. You just have to find something to inspire you.... and thats what this page is all about. 4) Remember its not all or nothing - If you slip up its not the end of the world. Just move on guilt free, and get back to your routine. Habits take time to change. Perseverance is what gets the result. 5) Enjoy it more. Dont think of it like a chore but embrace it. Add things you like doing into your routine. Obviously theres things that you need to do to get the desired result but if you like just doing a spin class then keep one in per week on top of adding the core plan of resistance training and strength training because thats always the core of any plan.
