So, most everyone knows Kyle has some delays--he forgets to get himself to the bathroom. I picked him up from school and he proceeded to potty (not completely thank goodness) in the truck. He doesnt tell me until we are out of the car at Footers. So, I casually tell him he has lost video game privileges this weekend and he needs to go in and finish what he has started. Hes in the bathroom for an extended time and this is the conversation I have with him thru a LOCKED bathroom door IN the restaurant: Mama: (knock knock) Kyle, what are you doing in there? Kyle: Im not coming out! Mama: Why not? Kyle: Im angry and Im not going to school! Mama: Why arent you going to go to school? Kyle: Im not going to go to school til you give me my video games back! ! Mama: When you dont get yourself to the bathroom in time there are consequences--you need to come out to eat. Kyle: Ill come out to eat but Im angry!! And Im not going to school!! Oy Vey!!
