So much has been discussed on media regarding Prophet Owour, and having been in Eldoret over the weekend when his mega crusade was taking place l observed some few things: A) The town was cleaned up with detergents and a red carpet laid up just prior to his visit to give him similar treatment that Christ received when He went into Jerusalem, thereby equating him with God. B)The guy loves pomp considering the motorcade that escorted him to the venue in comparison to Christ who used a donkey. C) Dr Owour loves show off and popularity. D)Throughout the crusade he commanded his followers to not even put up their umbrellas in the sweltering heat portraying characteristics of a control freak. E) He did not read the bible at all, but kept talking about his global popularity and demand almost making his audience feel like it was a privileged for him to have afforded them the time. F)He berated other church leaders elevating himself as the sole custodian of truth. G)Some testimonies he gave are either delusional or at best egocentric. CONCLUSION: Prophet Owuor is building a cult and if not checked on time it may have unforeseen and dangerous consequences!
