So newest season of The Amazing Race had a stop in our little country. So if you know nothing of the Philippines, what youll learn from the episode are the following: 1. Scenes of traffic and urban congestion 2. There is Random flower shop outside baclaran church (cluebox) 3. Lots of naked Kids sprawled in the streets 4. There is a Random carinderia somewhere (clue pick-up) 5. Roadblock choice: a) hauling fish in rosario fish port in murky Manila bay. B) assembling a tricycle in some backyard shop 6. Last task: find your clue in a muddy rice field 7. Pit stop: random rice farm ni lolo 8. All throughout the episode: the bad smells every where Whoever planned/wrote the episode, parang pinaa nya lang. Venues and tasks are uninteresting and very random. If the objective of whoever was behind the show was to feature the unappetizing side of the Philippines, they were very succesful. #theamazingrace #axn Mejo nakakapikon especially when you know that there are so much to show that are interesting and beautiful. I am not saying hide the bad stuff which are realities in the PH pero kasi sa ibang episodes ang gaganda ng pinupuntahan sa ibang countries at culturally relevant yung activities at features. Kung may brand manager ang Pilipinas dapat nagwawala na sya. Sino ba dapat yun? National Government? DOT? Nakaka-highblood. Anyways, umo-opinion lang. In other news, MILO MARATHON tom postponed.
